SHIPPING INFORMATION
'Darjeeling Tea order' shipping is FREE* to any country for any amount you buy. There was a slight hitch with shipping using Airmail to USA, but its all sorted out now. Now we can proudly proclaim that we provide FREE SHIPPING TO ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. All free shipping is done through regular postal mail (AIRMAIL), but there are some 'delivery time' disadvantages with Free shipping. Please read below.

The other medium is through express courier service - DHL / Fedex etc.. The maximum stipulated time for delivery is 7 days from the time of despatch. An “Airway Bill No.” (AWB) e.g. 3390824441 will be sent to the client by email. This AWB number will help our clients track down their shipments by logging on to DHL’s website - www.dhl.co.in etc.

Our weight system is based on Kilograms and zonal-wise distribution of a specific country. The minimum order a client can order is 100 grams. The shipping cost will be calculated and based on the number of grams or kgs a client intends to order and the country where the shipment has to be delivered. Shipping for 100 grams of tea may prove to be a little expensive, but the shipping cost will go down unit wise as the weight increases. So it is advisable to order more than 100 grams.

There are three methods of shipping we follow:
1) International Courier service (Recommended and reliable)
2) India Speed Post
2) Free Shipping (Airmail with flat USD 2.9 handling fee per order)*

You can choose any of the three methods for your shipment purpose on checkout. Choose what suits you best.

Pros and Cons
DHL (5-7 Days Delivery) gives wider facilities such as tracking of shipments online from DHL's website or etc. and the delivery will be done within 5-7 days from the time of despatch (as promised by the Courier service authorities), anywhere in the world. Sometimes even earlier. They have got an excellent support service.

India Speed Post (7-14 Days Delivery) is an extended service from Postal Department of India. They have a tie-up with different International Postal services and promises to deliver within a span of 7 - 14 days.

Free Shipping (Airmail, 15-30 Days Delivery) is a service from the Postal Department of India and frankly speaking you may not get as much facility as expedited service offers. However, if time is not a constraint for you, then we advise you to opt for this option as no shipping charge will be levied on your purchase order. Please remember that it can take anything from 15-30 days for delivery of your tea order. A Handling flat fee of USD 2.9, irrespective of the quantity you buy, will be levied on the purchase order on your checkout.

When do we ship?
We ship your tea order(s) as soon as your credit card is verified by 2checkout.com, our authorized retailer of goods. It may take maximum of 1-2 days for verification. We wait for this verification in order to avoid credit card frauds and to safeguard the legitimate usage of your credit card.

REFUND POLICY
Thunderbolt Tea strives to deliver the most authentic Darjeeling Teas. The teas are purchased directly from the gardens and the grade of teas which we send is exactly the same as mentioned on our shopping section. All the tea names (eg. Castleton Muscatel – FTGFOP-1) will be the same as kept by the gardens themselves and will not be altered by us. We deliver the precise teas and will not send something which is similar - this signifies that we do not sell blended teas and instead concerntrate on single estate and flush teas.

Despite of the authenticity we try to keep up with the quality of tea, if there is a certain criterion where a customer is not satisfied, we will issue a full credit for product cost. No partial returns will be accepted, and merchandise must be sent back in original individual and case packaging. Shipping costs on returned merchandise are at the customer's expense. If you opt to return acceptable merchandise, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Merchandise may be returned within 30 days of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. The customer is requested to send us an email detailing about the return of the purchased tea. The money will be refunded only after the tea is returned to us.

If a customer wants to settle the amount with some other tea order, we will ship the tea immediately after the confirmation is received.
