This is one tea which cannot be avoided if you are a true tea lover. This one as we would like to call "The nectar of the Gods" is just exotic and limited. Its 100% handcrafted Darjeeling white tea. Production of such teas are not possible in bulk and this whole year they could only produce about 100-120 kgs. No machines involved in the making, just sun drying to a total of 6-8 hours and the tea is ready. Its a divine tea not readily available even if you want to purchase it. The tea is a limited, Hurry!!

Dry Tea leaves: Its got an amazing leafy dry tea leaves appearance, overall green with a mixture of light and dark yellow leaves on some and the "two leaves and a bud" story is intact which are vividly visible. The buds adorn a greenish leaf tinge which are then matted by minute and fine silver hairs which makes it shine. The leaves are highly aromatic with fruity and flowery aroma which is again sweet smelling accompanied by light vegetal aroma.

Wet Tea leaves: It results in leafy yellowish-green infusion with an overall sweet floral and fruity aroma. The two leaves and a bud can be seen clearly with a silky touch. Also accompanied by refreshing light vegetal aroma. The wet leaves or infusion seems to stand some multiple steepings like the oolongs.

Cup or Tea Liqor: Most of the teas, even white teas color the water when brewed, but this one is exceptional, the color of tea is just plain water color meaning no color is introduced to water and the observer may assume one is just drinking plain water. This is a sign of high quality white tea and it is. Its got a beautiful and refreshing fruity and flowery notes which is very sweet and vegetal to some extent. Leaves a sweet aftertaste that is lingering.

Dry Tea leaves: As the name suggests, Risheehat Silver Tips comprises of 99% tips or buds only. It has an overall greenish appearance with tiny silver hairs on it which adds a rich luster on the whole. Elongated needle shaped dry leaves with a mixture of green, white and light brown colors. It has a flowery and fruity aroma which is found to be almondy and slightly malty.

Wet Tea leaves: If you enlarge the photo of the infused leaf, those are only buds that have unfolded. It has an overall green colored infusion with a slight mixture of pale green, pale yellow and brown tinge. It is highly aromatic; fruity and flowery. It has a slight grassy aroma accompanied by slight sugary sweetness. It is buttery and slightly almondy.

Cup or Tea Liqor: All silver tips or bud oriented Darjeeling posses a light liquor and this is no different. It has a beautiful pale yellow colored cup which is smooth in taste and the slight grassy aroma got from the infused leaves drastically reduces to a minimum. It has a complex mixture of fruity and flowery notes. It taste slightly ginger like which is also almondy. Astringency is at its minimum. It has an overwhelming sweet after taste and this is a mark of this Second Flush Risheehat tea.
