What methods of payment do you accept?
Thunderbolt Tea accepts all major credit and debit cards. We also accept prepaid orders by wire transfer, traveler's cheque in equal British Pounds, money orders and bank drafts done in favour of "Thunderbolt Tea, Darjeeling" Money orders and bank drafts accepted within India only. All products being shipped outside of India must be paid by wire transfer or traveler's cheque in equal British Pounds as mentioned above.

What licenses and permits do I need to provide to buy wholesale tea from you?
Each city, state and country has its own requirements for doing business. As long as you fulfill your local requirements, you can purchase from Thunderbolt Tea. If you are located outside India, you need to send us your Tax ID number or Import license information provided by your country with which you can legally import our teas.

When will my products arrive?
Thunderbolt Tea processes all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt. The time it takes to arrive depends on your geographical location and the option you have chosen for the shipping. Indian Postal Service usually takes 10-15 days for delivery within India and 15-25 days for International orders. Courier shipping through DHL takes maximum 7 days for delivery anywhere in the world. What is your return policy?
If an order is short shipped, if the wrong product was sent, or if merchandise is damaged or defective, Thunderbolt Tea will issue a full credit for product cost. No partial returns will be accepted, and merchandise must be sent back in original individual and case packaging. Shipping costs on returned merchandise are at the customer's expense. If you opt to return acceptable merchandise, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Merchandise may be returned within 30 days of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. Is there a minimum quantity I have to buy?
Since you are buying in terms of wholesale, the minimum quantity which you can buy is 5 kgs. We do require that you provide us with a Tax Id number or Import license information

How can I place my order?
After you signup with us, we will send you an approval letter along with the available tea listing and price tag for each tea. You can write back to us for placing an order or can log on to your wholesale area using your username and password, which we will send you with your approval letter.

What if you are out of something I order?
We will contact you if your order contains backordered or discontinued products that were just sold out. If the product has been discontinued, your order will automatically be canceled. If the product has been backordered, we will let you know how long it will take to come back into stock and it will be your choice to either cancel the order or keep it open.

Do I need a membership to order?
Thunderbolt Tea does not require you to sign up for any membership to order as a wholesale buyer. Because we are a true wholesale site, we do require you to register to see prices. You need to fill up the 'Wholesale Sign Up' form in order to get a username and password to gain access to the wholesale area. Are the pictures on your website the exact items I am ordering?
Thunderbolt Tea strives to provide accurate images of all products sold on its site. Please refer to our product descriptions for further information. Remember due to the different monitors and screen settings the products may look a little different, but to assure you, we guarantee that you will get what you ordered for.

Do you offer payment terms?
Thunderbolt Tea does not offer special payment terms as all orders must be paid in full at time of the order.

Are credit card transactions secure?

How do I cancel an order?
Thunderbolt Tea ships its products quickly to ensure customer satisfaction. If your order has been prepared for shipment or is in transit, you will not be able to cancel your order. Therefore, you must call us at +91-354-2259619 or +91-9733070262 immediately to cancel your order.

How do I track my shipment?
As soon as your product leaves the warehouse, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your shipment that will include a tracking number and ship date. This is only possible if shipped through courier service i.e. DHL

How can I get a printed catalog?
We do not print a catalog because we use the Internet as our virtual catalog. With every new tea season new teas are added to our stock and the prices are never set to be stable. The prices depend on the quality of the crop that a particular tea garden yields. If a particular garden has a good crop this year, the same garden may have a bad crop the following year. With so many varieties of Darjeeling teas, the Internet is the perfect virtual catalog for Thunderbolt Tea.
