This Darjeeling Second Flush 2021 tea, “Sungma Organic Musk”, is one which won our hearts from several tea samples that we tasted. Its a tea made from pure Chinary tea leaves, carefully and tenderly plucked. Thanks to all those hard working women tea pickers Darjeeling Tea Estates list who put their extra cautiousness in plucking this tea. A special care has been taken in the processing in order to maintain the muscatel character in the cup.

This Sungma Tea Garden Darjeeling is picked from one of the highest elevation section of the tea estate. This section comprises of special chinery bushes which yield extremely good quality tea leaves for the purpose of muscatel tea making. Unlike other chinery tea leaves, this tea got its tea leaves from this special tea growing section which has a unique musky flavor unparalleled with any other. The slender looking tea leaves of this Darjeeling Second Flush are covered in downy hairs. This in turn gives the overall look a bright sheen. It contains a fair amount of silver tips. It comes with lovely aroma of fruits and nuts. The musk or muscatel flavor is overwhelming accompanied by some degree of sweetness.
